Additionally, Ted Chamberlain (Director) made his directorial debut with this same Olympia chorus.  The SeaChordsmen and blessed to have these very talented people at the helm of our barbershop ship.

Figgy Pudding 2016 - Best Yet

December 3, 2016 - 11:10pm -- Rick Vollmer

The SeaChordsmen participated in the 30th Annual Great Figgy PuddingCaroling Competition and enjoyed every minute of this fun and worthwhile event.  We raised over $1500, sang a great variety of Holiday songs, and made more friends all at the same time.  It was great having our old friend Paul Ellinger sing with us and present us with the First Annual SUPERCHARGED Chapter of the Year!!

CYV 2016 Starts with a Bang!

October 19, 2016 - 9:53pm -- Rick Vollmer

On Tuesday, October 18 2016, the SeaChordsmen hosted their annual "Capture Your Voice and Sing" night with these wonderful 11 guys.  For the next five weeks they will learn the joys of singing Barbershop music under tutelage of the chorus director Ted Chamberlain.  From the smiles on their faces, we're guessing they had a good time. It's not too late for any interested male to start next week.

Disney Noir was a Smash Hit

June 27, 2016 - 4:03pm -- Rick Vollmer

The audience loved the performance of "Disney Noir" based upon comments from our Social Media sites.  The Henchmen (pictured above), Cruella DeVil, our hero Steve, heroine Belle, and the SeaChordsmen all delivered a performance for the ages.  Then include current Evergreen District Quartet Champs 4.O, AND international quartet Main Street into the mix and the effect was tremendous.

Please come to Guest Night on 19 July, 7:00pm, and maybe you'll be on stage with us in October as we compete at the district competition in Vancouver, WA.

SeaChordsmen "Ring" In NW Folklife Festival 2016

May 30, 2016 - 10:07pm -- Rick Vollmer

The Seattle SeaChordsmen once again perform and teach the art of Barbershop singing to the folks at the 34th Northwest Folklife Festival.  Director Ted Chamberlain conducts a quick class about Barbershop singing and soon has everyone singing several Tags (the short phrases at the end of songs).  The finale has audience members singing a song (Aura Lee) under his direction.  They were great.
