Frank Gregory
Frank has been a member of the Seachordsmen since 2015. He was first introduced to Barbershop harmony by David Rice, (they sing tenor in church choir). David invited him to participate in the “Capture Your Voice” program lead by Ted Chamberlain, our former chorus director. He started out as a Lead with the chorus, but subsequently switched to Bass. He was also a member of a mixed chorus, Colla Voce that included a string ensemble.
He has served several years as chorus secretary and is currently serving as a Board member-at-large. He took over the responsibilities of chorus grant writer from Sherwood Sage.
When not singing he enjoys gardening, learning to play the guitar, participating in a history book club, enjoying Bible study, and is a member of a prison ministry group at Monroe. After completing studies in horticulture for urban restoration he served in the Monroe prison sustainability program for recycling and composting.
He is retired from his 9-5 job after 38 years of serving and traveling in various capacities for Boeing’s Aerospace and Commercial divisions.
