We love singing in the community, and the holidays offers even more opportunities to do it. The SeaChordsmen will be caroling on Queen Anne (weather permitting) on December 21, during a chunk of our regularly-scheduled rehearsal. Here we are making a "dry run" during our December 14 rehearsal. Please join us next week -- we have music!

The Board Four made their live public debut at the Queen Anne Farmer's Market last Thursday, August 12.  They are Chris Saether (tenor), Rod Heivilin (bass), Gary Ackerman (lead), and Jim Durand (baritone).  Drew Robinson ably pinch hit for Jim this time, and is pictured above.  Chris sings lead with the chorus and is learning new parts, so their repertoire is somewhat limited for now.  More to come, however!

On a (recently rare) sunny day (1/23) 11 SeaChordsmen gathered in their cars to have the first experience singing together as a VLQ since almost a year ago!  This was possible due to the recent acquisition of a used 16 channel mixer and some microphones.  The chorus and other members had previously acquired a low power FM transmitter and portable AC power supply.  On this day we used 10 wired microphones and 1 of four wireless microphones.  Nine cars were arranged in parking spaces and everyone listened to the complete mix either over their car FM radio, or a portable radio with headphones...
