This is getting to be a habit! Actually, planning at least two of these a month on regular rehearsal nights. Come on back, everyone, there's plenty of room! Here's a video of You've Got a Friend.
On a (recently rare) sunny day (1/23) 11 SeaChordsmen gathered in their cars to have the first experience singing together as a VLQ since almost a year ago! This was possible due to the recent acquisition of a used 16 channel mixer and some microphones. The chorus and other members had previously acquired a low power FM transmitter and portable AC power supply. On this day we used 10 wired microphones and 1 of four wireless microphones. Nine cars were arranged in parking spaces and everyone listened to the complete mix either over their car FM radio, or a portable radio with headphones
SeaChordsmen quartet 4 Guys in a Bar has been doing socially distanced rehearsals at Sunset School Park in Shoreline over the course of the pandemic. Sometimes neighbors stop by and listen for a while, ask questions, and even applaud! We've told quite a few Shoreline residents about our upcoming virtual holiday show, and hopefully some will join us. One neighbor of the park wrote a nice article in the Shoreline Area News about how we've been fililng the park with music:

Here was our VLQ for this performance, plus our interim director, Elizabeth Davies, and just a few of her loyal subjects.
The SeaChordsmen enthusiastically supported the Queen Anne Baptist Church at their Block Party on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Later on, they sang in front of Trader Joe's to the delight of the folks nearby.
