Rod Heivilin
Rod joined the SeaChordsmen after hearing them perform Christmas music at the Northgate Mall back in 1996. He was approached by a member of the chorus while standing there singing along with the group and accepted the invitation to come and take a look at the chorus the following Monday. The rest is history. Over the years Rod has held most of the officer positions and has been the treasurer for the past twelve years.
Rod and his wife Donna have been married for almost 60 years and have two children, four grandchildren and one great grandson. He spent 30 years in the fire service before retiring in 2002. He continues to teach one quarter each year at the University of Washington. He is currently the treasurer for the King County Fire Commissioners Association.
Rod sings bass in the quartet Four Ever Young.
