Rod Heivilin

Rod joined the SeaChordsmen after hearing them perform Christmas music at the Northgate Mall back in 1996.  He was approached by a member of the chorus while standing there singing along with the group and accepted the invitation to come and take a look at the chorus the following Monday.  The rest is history.  Over the years Rod has held most of the officer positions and has been the treasurer for the past nine years.

Rod and his wife Donna have been married for almost 57 years and have two children, four grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.  He spent 30 years in the fire service before retiring in 2002 and continues to work with fire victims through his work with 1-800 Board Up.  He has started two charities that are still active.
