Top of the Hill at Swedish Club

Seattle Seachordsmen quartet Top of the Hill was invited by the Swedish Club on Dexter Avenue North to sing "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines" on September 27 to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Erik Hemming Nelson's 1924 flight around the world.

Some of Mr. Nelson's relatives from places like Tucson had come to Seattle for the event.  There were Charleston dance performances by the Savoy Dancers and also a 1920's style band.  A grand time was had by all, and we even got to enjoy some Swedish meatballs for dinner!
