District Convention 2024

The 2024 Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society Convention is in the books, and wow, what a weekend! Not only did we have eleven new first-time competitors on stage with us, but we bumped our score up from last year by 4.4 points, moving from 72.3 to 76.7, and landing in fifth place. If you're not one of those barbershop fans who lives knee-deep in barbershop-scoring, we don't blame you. But trust us -- this was an incredible weekend for us!

The best part? We continue to create a loving community of singers who gather each week to create beautiful music together. And it pays off when we peak on stage, earning a whispered "Holy S#!+!!" from our director as we wrap up our set. There were smiles, there were tears, there were hugs, and we are so grateful to have brought our best to the EVG stage.

Thank you to our fearless leader, Elizabeth Davies, for inspiring us each week with her goofiness, her love, her ambition, and her belief that we can reach any goal we aspire to, if we bring our A-game discernment to the table. She charms and disarms us with her passion, insight, drive, and humor, and we are better artists because of her.

Thank you to everyone who supported our endeavors this year, including significant others, coaches, the Queen Anne Baptist Church where we rehearse, and everybody else who has encouraged us on our way. It's great to be a barbershopper!!!
